Asheville Highway Animal Hospital was started in 1979 as a one-veterinarian animal clinic operated in the same location by the founder, Dr. Joseph Kendrick. "Dr. Joe" has a deep love for animals and a vision of a veterinary hospital that treats pets with the same level of medical care and attention given to human patients.
It was his insight and dedication to veterinary medicine that has brought the family owned clinic to where it is today. Now accompanied by his son, "Dr. Rick" Kendrick, his daughter-in law "Dr. Reichla" Kendrick, and "Dr. Lori" Baxter, the full service facility offers the most comprehensive and up-to-date treatment for pets within the surrounding area.
In addition to our comprehensive veterinary services, we also offer the follwing.
Boarding - We offer "kitty condos" in our "Cats Only Suite" for our feline friends. Our canine companions enjoy spacious indoor runs and an outdoor exercise area.
Cosmetic Grooming - Monday - Friday, our Certified Master Groomer is available, by appointment, to pamper your pet. Bathing, Haircuts, Nail Trims, Teeth Brushing, and Furminator Treatments are just a few of the services available. We welcome Cats and Dogs!
